Yellow grapefruit has pale flesh and a sharper, more bitter edge than the pink and ruby varieties. These are Australian grown and certified organic, sold loose by weight.
Halve and spoon it out at breakfast, segment it into salads with avocado or fennel, or juice it. The peel can be zested into dressings and baking.
Whole fruit keeps for a week or more in the fridge. Bring it to room temperature before juicing to get more from it.
