Overview
Unique Wholefood is committed to ensuring your order is delivered safely and efficiently. Please read our shipping policy carefully for details on delivery options, costs, and conditions.
Our current shipping options are:
- Australia Post: Postal shipping with Australia Post for dry goods only
- Home Delivery: In-house delivery for dry, wet, fresh and chilled items
- Local Pickup: Store and curb-side pickup for dry, wet, fresh and chilled items
- GoPeople Same Day: Third-party on-demand delivery, Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 6pm
Australia Post Shipping Options and Rates
Australia Post is only available for orders that do not contain fresh, frozen or chilled items.
As of March 26, free shipping has been temporarily suspended. Orders over $100 now incur a $5 standard shipping fee instead of free shipping.
We currently offer the following Australia Post shipping rates:
- Orders under $100: $12 standard shipping
- Orders over $100: $5 standard shipping
- Express Post: $25 flat fee, no minimum spend
- Western Australia: $30 flat fee, no minimum spend
Orders weighing over 20kg may incur extra shipping charges. This will be determined during order packing. If applicable, we may contact you to organise additional shipping fees based on calculated Australia Post rates.
Home Delivery Rates
As of March 26, free home delivery has been temporarily suspended. Orders over $150 now incur a $5 delivery fee instead of free delivery.
We offer home delivery to eligible locations at the following rates:
- Orders under $100: $30 delivery
- Orders from $100 to $149.99: $20 delivery
- Orders $150 or more: $5 delivery
If Home Delivery is the only shipping option shown at checkout, it usually means:
- your cart contains fresh produce
- your cart includes frozen or chilled items
- your cart has a heavy item not eligible for standard postage
- or an item in your cart is not properly configured for shipping
If you believe it is the last scenario, please call our Online Team on (02) 9564 1679 and select Option 1 to speak with the team directly for assistance.
Orders within a 12km radius may be delivered the same day via GoPeople delivery services, subject to stock availability.
We will contact you using the phone number provided to organise the best delivery time.
If we are unable to reach you, we will send you a message or email asking you to confirm delivery times.
We may also contact you to advise you of any out-of-stock items or to arrange suitable alternatives.
Please include your preferred delivery time in your order notes.
Delivery Information Sharing
To ensure smooth and timely deliveries, we may share your delivery details, including your name, delivery address and contact number, with our delivery partners, such as Uber services and their drivers. This information is only used to fulfil your order and ensure accurate and efficient delivery.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is free and available during store opening hours.
You can collect your order at the registers in our Leichhardt store. Simply provide your name to our staff and they will prepare your order for collection.
Please note:
- Local pickup is currently unavailable at our Crows Nest location until further notice
- You will receive a notification when your order is ready for pickup
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Delivery Times
- Standard Shipping: 2 to 7 business days, depending on your location
- Express Shipping: 1 to 4 business days
- Home Delivery: Orders will be prepared and delivered within 2 business days
- Store Pickup: Orders will be prepared and customers notified within 24 hours
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
