Bright magenta dragon fruit, peeled, cut into cubes and frozen. It's the red-fleshed variety, the one smoothie bars sell as pink pitaya, and it's what turns a smoothie bowl that vivid hot pink. The taste is mild and lightly sweet.
Nothing else goes in the bag, just dragon fruit grown in Vietnam, supplied by Harvestime out of Melrose Park in Sydney. Blend the cubes straight from the freezer with banana and a splash of coconut water, or let a few soften for ten minutes and spoon them over yoghurt and granola.
500g bag. Keep frozen at -18°C or below and don't refreeze once thawed.
