Gourmet Organic Ground Nutmeg 30g holds one ingredient: 100 per cent certified organic ground nutmeg.
Nutmeg is warm and slightly sweet and goes a long way. It belongs in bechamel and potato gratin as much as in custard, spiced biscuits and fruit cake, and a small grating lifts a pumpkin soup.
Ground spice loses its aroma with heat and light. Keep the jar closed in a cupboard rather than above the stove.
