Alaska has prohibited finfish farming since 1990, so salmon landed there is wild by law, not by claim.

The jar is the largest of the Good Fish salmon formats and the one to buy if you are feeding more than one person. Packing in good olive oil keeps the fish softer and richer than a brine tin, and the oil itself is worth keeping — it carries the salmon flavour and makes a dressing on its own.

Lift the fillets out whole onto toast, break them over a salad, or fold them through warm pasta with the oil, lemon and parsley.
