Chef's Choice Certified Organic Pearl Barley is barley grain with the outer husk and bran polished away, so it cooks faster than hulled barley. The pack holds 500g and the ingredient list is organic barley grain alone.
Simmer it in soups and broths, use it in place of rice in a risotto-style dish, or cool it and fold it through a grain salad with herbs and lemon.
Store the pack sealed in a cool, dry cupboard.
Barley is a gluten-containing grain, so this product is not suitable for a gluten free diet.
