Ingredients

Pastry: wheat flour (gluten), water, vegetable fat (vegetable fats & oils, water, salt, emulsifier [soy], acidity regulator, antioxidants, flavour, colour), salt. Filling: free range chicken, tomato pulp (tomato, acidity regulator), cream (milk), milk, yogurt (milk, cream, yogurt cultures), vegetable oil sunflower seed, olive), water, garlic, ginger, butter (milk), thickener (maize), sugar, spices, salt. Topping: black sesame seeds.

A single frozen Spicy Butter Chicken Pie from Byron Gourmet Pies, 220g. Free range chicken is cooked in a curry sauce with butter, cream, yoghurt, tomato, garlic, ginger and spices, wrapped in the company's own pastry and finished with black sesame seeds on top.

Byron Gourmet Pies make their pastry from scratch in northern New South Wales and state that their pies are GMO free with no added preservatives. Keep frozen at -18°C. Thaw overnight in the fridge for best results, or bake from frozen for 40 to 45 minutes at 150°C. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
