Ancient Grains White Spelt Loaf 680g is a sourdough loaf with four ingredients: certified organic spelt flour and spelt sourdough, filtered water, olive oil and sea salt. No commercial yeast, no preservatives and no artificial additives.
The slow sourdough fermentation is what gives it the depth of flavour and the close, even crumb. It is a good everyday toasting loaf and holds up under a heavy sandwich filling.
Spelt is an ancient species of wheat, so this loaf contains gluten. May contain traces of sesame seeds. Keep it in a paper bag or bread box, and freeze what you will not eat in a couple of days.
