Nutra Organics is now Nutra Naturals: what's changed and what hasn't

Nutra Organics is now Nutra Naturals, shown with Collagen Beauty, Super Greens + Reds and Beef Bone Broth tins in the new Nutra Naturals packaging

Short answer: Nutra Organics and Nutra Naturals are the same Australian brand. In January 2026 the family business behind Nutra Organics announced it was changing its name to Nutra Naturals. The brand says only the name is changing. The ingredients and formulas are the same, and anything that was certified organic is still certified organic.

If you've been buying their bone broth, collagen or Super Greens + Reds from us for years and spotted a different name on the tin, this is why. Here's what's changed, what hasn't, and where to find your usual products on our shelves and online.

Why Nutra Organics changed its name

Nutra announced the new name on 15 January 2026, and the reason comes down to trademarks. The company wants to sell its products overseas, and it says the Nutra Organics name holds that back from a trademark point of view. As its announcement puts it, "We can't operate multiple brand names in different markets." A single name that can be trademarked around the world means one brand everywhere.

What's changing and what isn't

What After the name change
Brand name Changing from Nutra Organics to Nutra Naturals, on the packs, the website and social media
Ingredients and formulas The same
Certified organic products Still certified organic
Quality and sourcing standards The same, with Australian ingredients used where possible
Who owns it Still Australian-owned and family-run

The family behind the brand

Nutra started in 1998 with Mark and Darlene Powell and their daughters, Ricki and Britt. Their first product, Super Greens + Reds, was mixed on the family's kitchen bench, and they mortgaged their home to get the business off the ground. The company is still Australian-made and family-run, and the Northern Rivers region of NSW is still its home. The name is the only part of that story that's new.

Will you see both names on the shelf?

For a while, yes. When it announced the change, Nutra said the new name would roll out gradually over the following 12 months, and that both names might appear side by side while existing stock is used up rather than thrown away. So you could pick up a Nutra Organics tin and a Nutra Naturals tin of the same product. Inside, they're the same.

A tin with the old name on it is still fine to use. The brand says its products usually have a shelf life of around three years, so go by the best-before date on the pack, as you would with anything else.

On our website, we've updated the product names to Nutra Naturals and swapped in photos of the new packs across most of the range, so what you see online should match what turns up at your door. You'll find everything on our Nutra Naturals page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Nutra Organics the same as Nutra Naturals?

Yes. Nutra Naturals is the new name for Nutra Organics, announced in January 2026. It's the same company, the same family and the same products.

Why did Nutra Organics change its name?

To make it easier to sell overseas. The company says the Nutra Organics name held back its international expansion from a trademark point of view, and it can't run different brand names in different countries.

Are Nutra Naturals products still organic?

The brand says every product that was certified organic is still certified organic. Not every product in the range is certified organic, though, so check the ingredients list on the pack or the product page to see which ingredients are.

Have the ingredients or recipes changed?

No. Nutra says the ingredients and formulas are the same, and only the name is changing.

Is Nutra Naturals still an Australian company?

Yes. The brand says it's still Australian-owned, Australian-made and family-run, with the Northern Rivers region of NSW as its home.

Is it OK to use a tin that still says Nutra Organics?

Yes. Old and new packs may sit side by side while existing stock is used up, and the product inside is the same. Check the best-before date, as you would with any pack.
