Kefir

Kefir is a cultured drink, fermented with grains rather than set like a yoghurt, so it pours thin and tastes properly sour. We stock three kinds: coconut kefir from Living Coconut, dairy kefir from Babushka's and Jannei (goat's milk), and water kefir from Buchi, which is dairy-free and closer to a soft drink in body.

All of it lives in the fridge and should stay there. If you are new to it, start with a small glass - it is tart, and a lot more alive than most things in the chilled aisle.
